Scan the 56 reviews on this site and you will find 56 raters who gave The Fletchers Five Stars on each of the four metrics. In reading the reviews, you will find a plethora of details that justify the five stars. As I read them, I found myself saying “Ditto” and “Same for me” to many of the comments. The four metrics are the Skills and Knowledges of real estate professionals. They are the necessary but not sufficient conditions for a Five Star Realtor. In 2005, we sold our home in the Bay Area using another “Five Star” — a nationally renown ReMax agent. She was my gold standard for an agent until I saw David and the Goodhome Group in action. For us, in addition to high skills and knowledge levels to be a Five Star Realtor, an agent must also create a positive, trustful relations…

For us, in addition to high skills and knowledge levels to be a Five Star Realtor, an agent must also create a positive, trustful relationship between the agent and client. This is where David and the Goodhome Group (Brenda, Vivian, and Erica) excel. A YES to the following questions makes for a positive, trustful relationship: Does the agent really understand what I want and need? Does the agent promise only what they can deliver? Does the agent know how to tell you when your ideas or wishes are unrealistic without insulting you? Does the agent have back up plans and resources when things go wrong? Does the agent show concern for you as a person during this major life event. Does the agent make you feel like you are their only client? Does the agent have your back when it is time to make hard decisions? Can the agent stay calm amid the chaos of getting the house ready or the marketing/buying process. Most importantly, can the agent keep you calm and focused by speaking for you. David and the Goodhome Group’s score: YES! to every question. Incidentally, our home sold on a very tight timeline, in inclement weather, and for well over the asking price. Perhaps we need a Seven Star Rating for David and the Goodhome Group.

In 2008, Brenda patiently showed us houses in Davis, drawing on her extensive local knowledge (longtime resident whose mom was a successful realtor.) Housing in Davis is very location specific - few blocks can put you in different worlds. Although houses were in short supply, she found us a great place and negotiated a great deal. Way better than Angies list. In late January 2023, we had an opportunity to buy a perfect home in Reno. Only problem: Very tight timelines to get the property. Who you gonna call? This time it was David who answered the call. He came ready with a detailed analysis of the local Davis market and two plans to meet the deadlines. Option A market the home as is; Option B invest in pre Inspections, some repairs, and staging the home. Since The Fletchers have a “deep bench” of internal and external resources Option B seemed doable. And It was done despite the weather (cue the Post Office motto) and having to move tenants out. David had a backup plan for every step in the process and was always checking to make sure the targets were met. Of course, the real test of any effort or person is how they handle the totally unexpected. On the last day of clearing the property, I wanted to show David a problem with the shed in the backyard. Easy right? Until we both got inside to view the problem and the door slammed shut. I’m in panic mode, thinking there is no way to get out of here unless we break through the plywood walls. David calmly says he thinks he can open the latch from the inside. No luck. Then he says, “Good thing I know a lot of people in North Davis.” He makes a call. Five minutes later a friend appears and frees us. Who you gonna call?…. The Fletchers!By the way, our home sold ahead of all our deadlines and for over the asking price.
